Dial and Hands
The silver sunburst dial is a masterclass in mid-century understatement, catching the light beautifully to create a dynamic visual effect. It features applied gold-tone faceted indices that provide excellent depth and contrast against the bright silver background. The elegant dauphine hands are sharp and highly polished, complementing the indices perfectly. The dial is printed with the classic Seiko Crown script at twelve o'clock and Diashock 21 Jewels at six o'clock. Upon close inspection, the dial remains remarkably clean and vibrant, showing only very faint, even signs of age-consistent patina. Case and Crystal
The 36mm gold-plated case wears with wonderful presence, offering a generous and modern size for its era. The case retains sharp, well-defined lug profiles and smooth transitions between its polished surfaces. The snap-on caseback is clearly engraved with the Seiko Crown branding, the reference number J15003E, and the serial number, along with the EGP 20 Microns gold-filled designation. The case shows honest, light superficial wear and micro-scratches consistent with careful use over the decades, but exhibits no significant plating loss or deep gouges. It is fitted with a domed acrylic crystal that sits proud of the bezel, offering a warm vintage distortion at the edges while remaining clear and free of major blemishes.

Movement
Inside beats the manual-winding Seikosha Caliber 560, a robust and beautifully finished 21-jewel movement. The bridges are clean and feature crisp factory engravings, showcasing the mechanical integrity of this historic caliber. Performing well within expected vintage tolerances; running strong and steady. The timegrapher results reflect a deviation of +20 to +23 seconds per day.

Strap
The watch is paired with a handsome black leather strap featuring striking yellow contrast stitching that perfectly complements the gold tones of the case and dial furniture. The strap is supple and is secured with a classic gold-tone pin buckle.

Condition
Excellent vintage condition. The watch has been wonderfully preserved, boasting a remarkably clean dial, sharp case lines with fully legible caseback engravings, and a healthy, well-functioning movement. It presents beautifully as a highly wearable and collectible vintage dress watch.
