Original Kenwell Space Age Table Lamp – Aluminium Tube Design – 1970s

A rare and highly collectible Space Age table lamp designed and produced by Kenwell Trading BV (The Netherlands) in the 1970s. This iconic vintage lamp features a sculptural spherical design, handcrafted from numerous brushed aluminium tubes welded together, resulting in a striking futuristic and atomic aesthetic. Each lamp is handmade and therefore a unique piece.

This table lamp stands on three short aluminium legs, fitted with protective plastic feet. The presence of these three legs is characteristic of an authentic Dutch Kenwell table lamp. The original sticker is still present.

When illuminated, the open aluminium tube structure creates a spectacular and dynamic atmospheric light effect, projecting decorative patterns of light and shadow onto surrounding walls and surfaces. A true statement piece, ideal for Mid-Century Modern, Space Age, Industrial, or Post-Modern interiors.
