These coins represent a fascinating era of Baltic history, struck during the Polish and Swedish rule over the region. The lot includes issues from: Sigismund III Vasa (Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth) Gustavus II Adolphus (Swedish Empire) Christina, Queen of Sweden (Swedish Empire) Key features of these coins include: The coat of arms of Riga: Clearly visible crossed keys with a cross above them, or the castle tower motif. The Monogram: Including the distinct crowned 'C' of Queen Christina. The pieces are in authentic, uncleaned condition as found, showing typical wear and patina for their age. They represent an excellent lot for attribution.
