A fantastic OC meteorite from Algeria, weighing 2430 grams. The meteorite was found by a known meteorite hunter in 2025 in Tamanghasset in a known strewn field where various other meteorites have been found and classified in the last few years. This is one of my most recent classifications, and you will be buying from the main mass holder. Except for the type specimen required for classification and a few small sections which will remain with me, this is all there is of this meteorite. The buyer will also receive (upon request) a few microscope thin-section, cross-polarised light images taken by the classifier, showing various types of chondrules and the matrix of the specimen. I am a member of the Meteoritical Society (#7743) and have been collecting meteorites for over 15 years.
