The 2007 2€ coin shows the portrait of France Presēren, Slovenia’s greatest poet, together with the line - Shivé naj vsi naródi- (God’s blessing on all nations) in his handwriting. In 2008 , Slovenia issued a special 2€ coin featuring Primoz Trubar to mark the 500 anniversary of his birth, along with a 3€ coin celebrating the Slovenian Presidency of the European Union.
