A large collection of old blue glass beads of different designs and origins. Most beads are of Bohemian origin (Czech Rep.), produced in the 1960-70`s and exported to Ghana and Mali. Most beads are either "Russian blue" facetted beads, indigo-blue ring beads or "drop"- beads and flat beads (from Mali). The larger glass beads are locally produced beads , made by the Ashanti of Ghana. All beads were collected in Africa in the 1990`s. Weight; 537 gram.
