Great original complete set of WW2 1943 dated Red Cross US Army playing cards. This card game is nicely named to Colonel (!) Archie W League; and was carried by him in New Guinea and the pacific! The set has a beautiful patina, has all the regular cards but no joker (im not sure these were ever included in this set). These early decks are difficult to find, let alone named to a colonel. These were given out to military during World War II. The card game is in clearly used shape given its approx. 80 years age and use in the tropics! This set willl look great in any display and merits further research on the original owner. Unique 100% original item for your US WW2 collection, difficult to find personal GI item!
