Kimono uit de late Qing-periode, vervaardigd uit zwarte zijde met polychroom borduurwerk in satijnsteek. De decoratie toont gestileerde feniksen en pioenrozen in pasteltinten, aangevuld met vijf goudkleurige messing knoopsluitingen aan de voorzijde. Deze uitvoering met contrasterende lichtblauwe voering is typerend voor Chinese exportgoederen uit de vroege 20e eeuw.
