Byzantine glass pendant (an original antique piece of glass). A glass pendant of Heracles, Serenus, and Martina (614-626 AD), from Carthage. This rare Byzantine pendant weighs 15 grams and has a diameter of 26 mm. In a beautiful green color, it depicts a bust of Heracles, Serenus crowned on the right, and Martina, adorned with jewels, on the left. Between them is a cross at the top and an ornament at the bottom. A rare pendant in excellent condition. ‏&&& ‏Ownership: Formerly owned in Spain, acquired in 1988 from a gallery/antiques dealer.
