This cat lithograph was created in the 1990s by Yoshiko Gordon (ヨシコ・ゴードン), a designer and artist active in Japan.

The work centers on two cats: in the foreground is a purple-toned cat with a relaxed posture and vivid expression; behind it is the outline of a warm yellow cat, creating a layered effect through contrast between solid and abstract forms. At the top, black lines depict a curtain decorated with rose patterns, conveying a warm indoor atmosphere. At the bottom, green and red color blocks divide the space, forming a bright and harmonious contrast with the purple and yellow tones of the cats. The lines are simple and smooth, the style artistic and modern, while the anthropomorphic expressions of the cats lend the piece a gentle and approachable charm.

The limited edition number 169/250 is handwritten in pencil in the lower-left corner, with the artist’s signature “G. Gordon” in the lower-right corner.

As the frame is sealed, further details on the reverse cannot be photographed. A paper label with information about the artist and the work is attached to the backboard of the frame.

This piece is sold with its original frame and acrylic cover. The frame shows minor rubbing and bumps from use. The original packaging box is included (not photographed), with some damage and dust accumulation. Due to age, the paper has slight natural toning. Overall, the work is in good condition.
