A true icon from Herdade do Mouchão, the 2018 vintage stands as one of the purest expressions of traditional Alentejo winemaking.
Produced mainly from Alicante Bouschet with a small proportion of Trincadeira, this wine is crafted using traditional methods, including whole bunch fermentation in open stone lagares and ageing in large wooden vats followed by extended bottle maturation.
The result is a deeply structured and authentic wine, showing intense black fruit, balsamic notes, mint, olive, tobacco and spice, with remarkable freshness and balance. Powerful yet controlled, with firm tannins and exceptional ageing potential.
