A fine porcelain sculpture of a chaffinch, naturalistically modeled and polychromed, standing circa 16cm tall on its base and weighing 227g. Signed to the base with "Sode" and marked to the underside with Aelteste Volkstedt porcelain manufacturer´s mark, afteer 1945.
Condition: Very good, no significant damages or repairs. Minimal wear commensurate with age.
