Matarromera Prestigio comes from grapes grown on old vines at the Pago de las Solanas estate. It is only produced in years when the grapes and the vintage meet the quality standards demanded by Bodega Matarromera. Prestigio's distinction lies in its double aging process. It is aged for nine months in French oak barrels, after which it is racked and then aged for another nine months in American oak barrels. Fresh, fruity, and with great aging potential, the 2021 vintage is rated as excellent.
