Vintage, very rare Rosice vase by Miloš Filip (1926–1966), dated 1952. Pattern number 712. Magnificent Mid-century modern glass, pressed glass technique. MCM shape, with geometric moderation, from stained glass with two well expressed ribs. Stunning color - hard to explain, but magic combination between sapphire and south sea. Legacy of Miloš Filip is very valuable, because of his short life. He committed suicide in age of 40, because of love issues. Ah, romantic times!… Condition is excellent vintage. Slight and insignificant traces of use could be found, but don't affect the wonderful appearance of this piece of art. No chips and cracks, no restoration. Height: 20 cm. Widest point: ca. 9 cm.
