The filling system fills completely. The cap has one very minor vertical hairlinecrack in the lacquer, just above the capband; not visible for the bare eye. There is no loss of the gilding on capband nor clip. Imprint in the capband: 'Pelikan 400 Pelikan 400 Pelikan 400'. Imprint in the barrel-end: 'Günther Wagner Germany Pelikan 400'. Imprint in the smooth writing, solid gold Extra Fine nib: 'PELIKAN (+logo) 14C-585 EF'. The Fountain Pen has been cleaned ultrasonically and the barrel is completely clear inside.
