•Vinification: Fermentation in oak vats; 30 days of maceration on the skins and gentle wetting of the cap using the "shower" system at a
temperature between 30° and 27° C. Malolactic fermentation.
•Aging: Minimum 6 years before release. Aged for 3 years in medium-sized oak barrels
and the remainder in the bottle.
•Color: Vivid garnet red with great depth
•Nose: Extraordinary complexity, elegance, and sweet aromas with evident notes of
red berries, dried rose petals, licorice, rhubarb, and gentian, complemented by
a very subtle sweet spiciness characteristic of this cru.
•Taste: Excellent structure, within an attractive fabric of silky tannins and
perfect harmony: its fascinating aftertaste is very long and very fresh
•Pairings: Tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, agnolotti, braised beef, well-aged cheeses
