This piece is distinguished by its solid silver ferrule, bearing the official hallmarks of the Dublin Assay Office. Hallmarks on the ring: "K&P Peterson's" followed by the three official symbols: Hibernia, the Crowned Harp (.925) and the given letter "O", dating the pipe to 1980. Wood Markings: "Peterson's System Standard" and "Made in the Republic of Ireland" (stamped on 3 lines). System: Features the famous "Peterson System" condensate collector, providing a dry and cool smoke. Material: High quality briar with a beautiful natural patina. Mouthpiece: P-Lip (Palatal Lip) type, made of ebonite, in original condition. The pipe is in good vintage condition. The wood has no cracks or external burns.
