This auction is for 4 original terrine pots and lids with advertising labels from Claudot Deschandeliers. They contents would have originally be foie gras terrine with truffles, which was the legendary paté from this maker in Ruffec, Charente. Believed from the early 20th century, 1900 to 1930. They are a heavy glazed earthenwre, with paper labels. In excellent condition. The pale yellow one is made by Sarreguemines as per the mark underneath. It also has lion head handles on the side.
