It is a single-vineyard release heavily based on Cabernet Sauvignon, with just a dash of Petit Verdot. The first vintage, the 1999, was released to widespread acclaim, while the 2000 release made headlines when it won an international blind tasting in Berlin in 2004, pitched against some of the greatest wines of France and Italy. The 2014 and 2017 vintages were given 100-point scores by leading critic James Suckling.
