Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2019 from the renowned Ciacci Piccolomini winery in Aragon. It is a prestigious Tuscan red, produced entirely with Sangiovese grapes in the municipality of Montalcino. Characteristics of the wine Colour: Intense ruby red, which tends to garnet with ageing. Aromatic Profile: Intense notes of ripe red fruits (cherry, raspberry), accompanied by spicy, floral nuances and hints of wood, leather and liquorice. Taste: On the palate it is warm, harmonious and persistent, with well-structured tannins and a lively acidity. Ageing: It typically matures for 3 years in Slavonian oak barrels, followed by bottle ageing before marketing. Recommended Pairings It is an ideal wine to accompany robust dishes of the Tuscan tradition and not only: Game (roasted or stewed). First courses with savoury meat sauces. Aged cheeses.
