This poster depicts a woman with a wreath of poppies, wheat and hops in her hair, holding a mug of beer in her hands. At the bottom of the poster there are two images created by another artist: an image of the goddess of the Meuse River and a bird's-eye view of the brewery.

Most of Mucha's works were created in collaboration with the Parisian printing house of F. Champenois since 1896; he has developed more than 100 designs for advertising, billboards and calendars.
