A large and superb silver plated jardinière with two handles cast as eagles´ heads, measuring circa 30,5cm in length and weighing 955g. Stamped with maker´s mark illegible and cipher 24, indicating that 24 grams of pure silver were applied to the object during the plating process. Estimated age: early 20th century. Condition: Overall good, no significant damages or repairs. Minor wear commensurate with age, see photographs for an impression.
