It is covered overall in a soft qingbai glaze of pale bluish-white tone, exhibiting the characteristic translucency and understated elegance associated with Southern Song wares. The body is finely potted, the glaze showing natural kiln effects and minor speckling, with areas of burial accretion and wear consistent with age. The foot is neatly finished, revealing the buff body and traces of firing, including iron-rich spotting to the exposed areas.
