An elegant hand-cut crystal decanter in richly coloured ruby glass, accompanied by six finely cut crystal glasses.

The decanter ( Baccarat ) is crafted in coloured crystal, showcasing a light ruby tone throughout the body. It is beautifully decorated with traditional hand-cut motifs, including geometric panels and finely executed starburst patterns, creating a brilliant play of light.

The rounded body is accentuated by vertical cuts and bands of star motifs, while the slender neck rises towards a faceted stopper, completing the refined silhouette typical of mid-20th century European crystal.

The six accompanying glasses are made of clear crystal and feature intricate diamond and star cutting, combined with elegantly faceted stems and star-cut bases. While not originating from the same service, they pair harmoniously with the decanter and form a visually striking set.

This type of craftsmanship is characteristic of fine French or Belgian crystal workshops, such as Val Saint Lambert, known for their high-quality cut crystal production during the mid-20th century.
