Nachet et Fils was one of France’s respected makers of scientific and optical instruments, and their microscopes are sought after by collectors of antique scientific equipment and decorative curiosities.

This example features a classic brass construction with black lacquered stage, adjustable body tube, and integrated mirror beneath the stage. The engraved Paris maker’s marking and traditional French design strongly support the period attribution.
