Incredible Teke sculptures from the Bantu ethnic group. They were purchased in 1963 from an antique shop and have since belonged to a private collection. They are in excellent condition. Historically traders ("Teke" means "to sell"), they dedicate themselves to agriculture, fishing, and hunting. They are known for their family-based social organization.
