Item Description This is a matched pair of Kutani ware flower vases produced by the Kutani Senryu Kiln, one of the distinguished kilns in the Ishikawa Prefecture tradition. Each vase features the exquisite aochibu-kinrande technique — a hallmark of Kutani's most technically demanding decorative styles. The body is richly adorned with countless tiny turquoise-blue dots (aochibu) applied with extraordinary precision, creating a shimmering, pointillist ground against a deep iron-black (tetsusен) glaze. Over this jewel-like background, flowing gold (kinrande) clematis scrolls and chrysanthemum-like blossoms spread gracefully across the entire surface.
