Model number 297-38, clearly marked on the base. This piece features a beautiful contrast between a matte beige lower section and a rich, textured brown lava glaze flowing over the upper part and neck. The sculptural form, with its faceted body and flared rim, is characteristic of mid-century German studio ceramics. The glaze shows strong depth and variation, making each side visually interesting. A classic and highly collectible example of West German “Fat Lava” pottery. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No cracks or repairs. Minor signs of age and use.
