This Laserdisc is in the CAV (Constant Angular Velocity) playing format as opposed to the Japanese Laserdisc which is in CLV (Constant Linear Velocity) format.

The CAV or Standard Play discs supported several unique features such as freeze frame, variable slow motion and reverse. Unlike the CAV Laserdiscs, CLV or Extended Play discs do not have the "trick play" features of CAV, offering only simple playback on all but the high-end Laserdisc players incorporating a digital frame store.

Because the UK/European Laserdisc is in CAV, the concert uses both sides of the disc whereas the Japanese edition has the full concert on one side.
