A majestic vase of Imperial workmanship with Yong Zheng stamp. The square kiln vase with pierced tubular handles, made in the official glaze of the Yongzheng (1723-1735) period of the Qing dynasty. The vase is an imperial work in honor of the sober and elegant forms in the manner of Southern Song Dynasty . Its imperial craftsmanship is evident in the sinuous lines of the porcelain, which give the vase a sense of sober elegance. A masterpiece of minimalism from antiquity, ante litteram! The glaze exhibits the classical natural crackle patterns in a pale celadon beige/gray glaze colour. Its shape features its regular symmetrical and fine porcelain body, and the warm, lustrous glaze. Two pierced handles are perfect on both sides. Suitable for an High-End porcelian ancient collection or display. The overall condition is intact but with metal clasps from an ancient posthumous restoration (perhaps did during the Republican era) as shown in all the pictures. 34 cm its height.
