Cinese porcelain in “Lacca Cinese Intagliata (cinabro)” with raised decorations in floral and geometric motifs, inner blue enamel, dating from the Qing Dynasty, late 19th century.
Height 15.5 cm, width about 7.5 cm, weight 185 g, excellent condition with no serious damage; a few scratches and signs of wear over time are visible, but please examine the attached photographs carefully.
The technique of carved cinnabar lacquer, perfected under the Qing Dynasty, involves applying numerous layers of lacquer and a highly detailed hand engraving.
The blue enamel interior is a common feature that provides a refined color contrast.
Carved cinnabar lacquer.
Type and technique of work, hand-layered engraving.
Dominant colors: intense cinnabar red on the outside, cobalt blue with a gold edge inside the neck.
Stylized floral patterns, geometric elements and intricate scrollwork.
