Antique Russian original icon from the mid 19th century. The icon depicts Mother of God of Kazan. The icon is painted in a master style, looks like has still the original gilding around the halos - really beautiful work. Small details are painted very well too. The icon shows signs of wear because of age, such as paint cracking on the surface, chipping off from the wood on the sides, but considering the age, it is in a very good condition in my opinion.
