An iconic old bottling of Glenfiddich, first distilled on Christmas Day 1887 — originally popular during the 1980s and 1990s, this expression served as a landmark entry point for single malt Scotch whisky worldwide.
Now discontinued, this was the whisky that introduced and popularised the bottling of Single Malts to the world. Whisky writer Jim Murray called it “a brilliant, effervescent whisky missed more sorely than words can describe… the whisky world is poorer without this unpretentious, landmark malt.”
