Collective Euphoria Collective Euphoria is a large-scale collaborative painting created simultaneously by four artists (DAN, L'OL, PF, ET) conceived as the luminous counterpart to a second collective canvas exploring the opposite emotional spectrum. Both works were developed in parallel, in the same physical and psychological space, forming a diptych-like confrontation between emotional extremes. Built through rapid gestures, instinctive mark-making, collisions of color and spontaneous interventions, the composition captures the raw energy of collective creation. Layers overlap without hierarchy: sweeping arcs, fragmented symbols, drips, violent chromatic contrasts and unfinished traces coexist in a dynamic visual tension that oscillates between celebration and controlled chaos. Rather than illustrating joy literally, the painting translates its unstable mechanics — acceleration, saturation, noise, movement and sensory excess. The result evokes a living surface where each participant’s intervention remains visible while dissolving into a shared pictorial rhythm. This work belongs to a process-driven approach influenced by action painting, collective improvisation and automatic drawing practices. The canvas functions both as an autonomous abstract composition and as part of a larger conceptual dialogue with its darker counterpart.
