—a jadeite axe head with lion and fish carving—from the central Asian Coastal tribes culture, first millennium AD or older.
In good condition. It has been cleaned, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased in 1995/London by Dr. Zelnik from the collection on the local art market.
