Forme sphérique originale avec bord festonné et richement taillé à motifs géométriques complexes : étoiles, losanges et croisillons qui créent un superbe jeu de lumière. Travail fin et précis typique de la période Art Déco des années 20. Pièce décorative charmante et rare dans ce petit format.

Lovely small double-layer crystal basket by Val Saint Lambert in a deep cobalt blue. Original spherical shape with scalloped rim and richly hand-cut with complex geometric motifs: stars, diamonds and crosshatching that create wonderful plays of light. Fine and precise work typical of the Art Deco period of the 1920s. Charming and rare decorative piece in this small size.
