It has a denomination of 2 Lati, is made of 835 fineness silver, weighs 10 grams, and has a diameter of 27 mm Obverse: The large coat of arms of the Republic of Latvia (a shield with a rising sun, a lion, and a griffin, topped with three stars, surrounded by oak leaves) is depicted in the center. The inscription "LATVIJAS" appears at the top, and "REPUBLIKA" appears at the bottom. Reverse: The denomination "2" appears in the center, with the word "LATI" beneath it. The composition is surrounded by a wreath of oak leaves, with the year of minting, "1925," at the bottom. Edge: Ribbed (corrugated), with variations in the number of corrugations.
