Foresta Pointer Date from the 1950s.  This is a classic example of a vintage mechanical watch with manual winding, offering the Pointer Date feature. The date is not displayed in a window, but is indicated by a special central hand with a red crescent tip along the outer edge of the dial. The watch is running on a German mechanical movement (caliber) Förster 2080 CLD or a related version, manufactured by Bernhard Förster GmbH from Pforzheim, Germany.
