There, the unlikely combination of several geological factors made possible the occurrence of a wide variety of finely crystallized mineral species, to such and extent that this deposit set the highest international standards for several species over the second half of the last century. Among these, cerussite is among the greatest classics, as Tsumeb is ranked among the most iconic localities for this species! This is a nice specimen featuring several cerussite 'snowflake' twins on a dark carbonate and oxides crust!
