摩根银元（Morgan dollar）是美国铸币局于1878至1904年間生产的一种1美元硬币，之后还在1921年再度投产。国会通过《1873年铸币法案》为自由铸造银币运动画上句点，坐姿自由女神银元因此停产，摩根银元则是此后美国发行的第一种标准银元。硬币由铸币局助理雕刻师乔治•T•摩根设计并以他命名，其正面刻有自由女神肖像，背面则刻有展开户翼的老鹰，爪子上抓着箭和橄榄枝。品项也相当精致，喜欢的藏家不要错过了。
12. 1921 U.S.A. Morgan Dollar. The Morgan dollar was a one-dollar coin produced by the United States Mint between 1878 and 1904, with production resuming in 1921. The Coinage Act of 1873, passed by Congress, brought an end to the movement for free coinage, discontinuing the Seated Liberty dollar. The Morgan dollar was the first standard silver dollar issued by the United States afterward. Designed and named after George T. Morgan, an assistant engraver at the Mint, the coin features a portrait of Liberty on the obverse and an eagle with outstretched wings, holding arrows and an olive branch in its talons on the reverse. The coin is quite exquisite, and collectors should not miss it.
