Christopher Cross (born Christopher Charles Geppert; May 3, 1951) is an American singer-songwriter from San Antonio, Texas. He won five Grammy Awards for his 1979 debut album of the same name. The singles "Sailing" (1980) and "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" (from the 1981 film Arthur) reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. "Sailing" received three Grammys in 1981, while "Arthur's Theme" won the 1981 Academy Award for Best Original Song (along with co-composers Burt Bacharach, Carole Bayer Sager and Peter Allen). – Another Page Another Page is Christopher Cross's second studio album, recorded in 1982 and released in early 1983. It wasn't as commercially successful (which was also problematic given that the first album sold over 10 million copies) as its predecessor (it was certified gold by the RIAA, but only after his self-titled debut album had already been certified platinum at the time the release of Another Page). "Think of Laura," Cross' third single from the album, peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1984. It was Cross' last single to make the top 10. An instrumental version of "No Time for Talk" appeared in the film American Anthem, which was composed by song co-writer and Another Page producer Michael Omartian.
