A charming lacquer tea caddy 棗 (natsume) covered with a refined chinkin’bori 沈金彫 (“gold-inlay carving”) design of lush flowers and scattered petals, set against a glossy black rôiro’urushi 蝋色漆 ground. The interior is finished in black lacquer.
