Elegant vintage white porcelain figurine produced by Alka Kunst Bavaria, West Germany. The sculpture depicts a young bird catcher carrying several bird cages on his back while gently holding a small bird in his hand. Executed in fine glossy white porcelain with excellent detailing in the face, clothing, cages, and naturalistic base.
This charming mid-20th-century figurine is a beautiful example of German porcelain craftsmanship and makes an attractive decorative object for collectors of porcelain figures and Bavarian ceramics.
