This large and heavy ceramic vase weighs approximately 4.5 kg before packaging. To ensure safe international transport, it will be packed with extensive protective materials, resulting in an estimated shipping weight of approximately 9kg.

Please note that the shipping fee shown in this listing is the rate for surface mail.

Due to its size and weight, the item will be shipped by Japan Post Surface Mail (sea freight). Delivery may take approximately 3 months depending on the destination country and customs procedures.

Surface mail service is currently unavailable to certain destinations, including **Belgium and several Middle Eastern countries (such as the United Arab Emirates)**.
If the buyer's country does not accept surface mail from Japan, the item must be shipped by **EMS (Express Mail Service)** instead.
Buyers who require fast delivery are kindly advised not to bid on this lot.

Tracking information will be provided. Please note that tracking updates may stop for several weeks after the parcel leaves Japan and resume only when it reaches the destination country. This is normal for surface mail shipments.

This is a masterpiece by Seisho Kiln (青松窯), a large crystal-glazed vase renowned as one of the kiln’s representative works.

The entire surface is covered with a breathtaking gradation of deep blue, emerald green, and soft white tones. Across this luminous background, delicate patterns resembling blooming flowers or snow crystals emerge naturally. These unique formations are created through the highly sophisticated technique of crystal glaze, in which minerals in the glaze crystallize during the cooling process after firing.

As shown in the photographs taken from four different angles, the vase reveals completely different expressions depending on the viewing angle. This fascinating variation is the result of *Yohen* (kiln transformation), a phenomenon caused by subtle changes in flame and temperature inside the kiln. The ever-changing scenery of colors and crystalline patterns is undoubtedly the greatest charm of this magnificent piece.

The rim of the vase is finished in a vivid light green, creating a striking contrast with the deep cool tones of the body. The elegant silhouette and rich coloration give the work a dreamlike atmosphere, reminiscent of an underwater world or a tranquil lotus pond at dawn.

The vase is accompanied by its original wooden stand and a fitted presentation box decorated with an ornate Kinran (gold-brocade style) pattern, demonstrating that this artwork has been carefully preserved and cherished as a fine piece of Japanese ceramic art.
