An excellent piece depicting a cat and a pig having their photograph taken. Crafted in ‘cold-painted’ bronze with polychrome decoration, it is in good condition with no chips or repairs, showing only signs of wear typical of its age. A piece from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, from the Austrian foundry of Franz Bergmann, marked on the base with the hallmark ‘Geschützt’ (registered trademark), which is found on many similar pieces from this manufacturer.
