While long known industrially, Yaogangxian has only become a major specimen source for collectors in the last decade or so, particularly for arsenopyrite; its fluorite is separately prized for an extreme clarity not seen from any other locality. This specimen features lustrous arsenopyrite crystals accompanying clear, glassy fluorite on a quartz matrix, the metallic and transparent textures playing nicely off one another. Ex coll. Bouzat.
