About Macallan Sienna

The second-darkest and second-most-premium expression in The Macallan 1824 Series. This line was a revolutionary shift for the distillery, focusing entirely on 100% natural color and cask maturity rather than a traditional age statement. This specific expression was matured exclusively in first-fill Spanish and American Sherry oak casks sourced from Jerez, Spain.
Tasting Notes:

Color: Deep, warm sienna pigment derived purely from the wood.
Nose: Subtle, persistent vanilla mixed with sharp, zesty orange and balancing green apples. Undertones of rich white chocolate truffles and elegant oak.
Palate: Thick and oily. Front-loaded with deep notes of dates, figs, and raisins. It transitions to warming baking spices like nutmeg, ginger, and cinnamon.
Finish: Smooth, long, and gently warming with lingering oak tannins and toffee sweetness
