A perfectly functioning HMV 101. Fully serviced including a main spring overhaul (see service receipt in the last photo).
The motor, speed, soundbox, etc., all operate as they should.
An excellent HMV 101 featuring a fully overhauled HMV No. 4 soundbox; all rubber components have been replaced, the needle bar adjusted, the wax seal renewed, etc. The soundbox now produces a beautiful tone and no longer sounds shrill like most old soundboxes.
It is ready for another 90 years of use.
