Beautiful vintage Longines dating to the early 1960s, powered by the renowned Longines manufacture Calibre 490 manual-wind movement with 17 jewels.

What makes this example particularly desirable is its exceptionally well-preserved stainless steel case. The case retains its sharp lugs, defined edges and original geometry, showing none of the excessive polishing often seen on watches of this age. Finding a vintage Longines with such crisp case lines is increasingly difficult.

The watch also retains its original signed Longines crown, a highly sought-after detail for collectors.

The elegant silver dial features applied gold-tone hour markers, matching hands and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock, giving the watch the timeless and understated elegance for which Longines became famous.

Measuring approximately **35 mm excluding the crown**, this was considered an oversized gentleman's watch when produced and offers excellent wrist presence today. The watch is fitted with a brand-new leather strap ready to wear.
