Historically commissioned exclusively for the Thai royal court and nobility, each piece is entirely hand-painted in mineral overglaze enamels and embellished with real gold, then kiln-fired multiple times — a labour-intensive craft requiring days of skilled work per item. Both jars share the classic Thai silhouette: a rounded body rising to a domed cover crowned by a gilded stupa-shaped finial.
